Seminar DescriptionThe class covers the basics of boiler construction and installation, used in hydronic, hot water and pool applications. The topics include basic installation, basic troubleshooting, plumbing, water flow, combustion air requirements and venting. The class will also include a discussion of the basic sequence of operation for the atmospheric heaters. The second day of the class will be “hands-on” troubleshooting. During the “hands-on” session everyone will be asked to troubleshoot various faults and errors so that you can troubleshoot the systems and heaters quickly and efficiently. The cost of the two day class is $250. Included in the class you will receive the training manual (first day ONLY and only one per person). We provide a light breakfast of coffee, juice and pastries or bagels and a catered lunch at noon. The class hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A certificate of course completion is awarded at the end of class. Register early, as the class size is limited to a maximum of 40 people The cost of the two day class is $250. The topics include design features and upgrades, wiring schematics and ladder diagrams, the Central Point Wiring boards (CPW), the new Versa IC Control, troubleshooting, plumbing and venting section. Class topics also include an in-depth discussion of the sequence of operation for each heater. The second day of the class will include “hands-on” troubleshooting. The “hands-on” session will last most of the day to ensure that everyone can troubleshoot the units quickly and efficiently. The cost of the two day Hi Delta class is $250. The topics include design features, wiring schematics, programming, troubleshooting, plumbing and venting section. Class topics also include an in-depth discussion of the sequence of operation for each heater. The Versa IC control module will be studied in depth to understand the available programming features. You will learn how to use the cascade feature for multiple boilers and how to connect a BMS signal. Other features that you will study are the PVC or Centrotherm® Polypropylene vent option, condensate disposal and condensing boiler technology. The second day of the class will be “hands-on” troubleshooting. The “hands-on” session is designed to ensure that everyone can program and troubleshoot the units quickly and efficiently. The cost of the two day class is $250. Included in the class you will receive the training manual (first day ONLY and only one per person).
