    Seminar Description

    The class covers the Hi Delta heaters, sizes HD101-2342C, used in hydronic, domestic hot water and pool applications. The topics include design features and upgrades, wiring schematics and ladder diagrams, the Central Point Wiring boards (CPW), the new Versa IC Control, troubleshooting, plumbing and venting section. Class topics also include an in-depth discussion of the sequence of operation for each heater.

    The second day of the class will include “hands-on” troubleshooting. The “hands-on” session will last most of the day to ensure that everyone can troubleshoot the units quickly and efficiently.

    The cost of the two day Hi Delta class is $250. Included in the class you will receive the training manual (first day ONLY and only one per person). We provide a light breakfast of coffee, juice and pastries or bagels and a catered lunch at noon. The class hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The topics include design features and upgrades, wiring schematics and ladder diagrams, troubleshooting, plumbing and venting section. Class topics also include an in depth discussion of the sequence of operation for each heater. You will also learn about the differences in these two products. If you can troubleshoot one, the other one is just as easy.

    The second day of the class will be “hands-on” troubleshooting. During the “hands-on” session everyone will be asked to troubleshoot various faults and errors so that you can troubleshoot the units quickly and efficiently.

    The class covers the five models of the XFyre boiler and water heater, sizes 300A-850A MBTUH, used in hydronic and hot water applications. The topics include design features, wiring schematics, programming, troubleshooting, plumbing and venting section. Class topics also include an in-depth discussion of the sequence of operation for each heater.

    The Versa IC control module will be studied in depth to understand the available programming features. You will learn how to use the cascade feature for multiple boilers and how to connect a BMS signal. Other features that you will study are the PVC or Centrotherm® Polypropylene vent option, condensate disposal and condensing boiler technology.

    The second day of the class will be “hands-on” troubleshooting. The “hands-on” session is designed to ensure that everyone can program and troubleshoot the units quickly and efficiently.

    The class covers the advanced features of the Versa IC Control, used in all heating applications. The topics include design features and upgrades, wiring schematics, and troubleshooting. Class topics also include an in depth discussion of the sequence of operation for the control. BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, Metasys N2 and Modbus TCP Energy Management Communications will be included with the ProtoNode gateway hardware portion of the class.

    The basic Versa IC class is included with all of the other commercial product lines. Please attend this class only if you have previously attended a basic Versa IC class.

    TThe cost of this one day Advanced Versa IC class is $125. Included in the class, you will receive the training manual (only one per person).
